Family Dollar has more than 8,000 locations and its parent company is Dollar Tree, the second largest retailer of its type in the United States. G2K Development has many years of experience building Family Dollar stores. We were tasked with finding desirable land that was also an affordable price so that once G2K acquired it, they could negotiate a lease with Family Dollar, and then sell the asset as a net-leased investment. We successfully negotiated the land acquisition and procured a buyer for the net-leased investment before the construction was completed for a store in Kyle, TX.
